decadent chocolate sauce decadent chocolate cake with raspberry sauce

A little naughty but really nice!

Details

Prep and cooking about 8 mins, will serve a few and keeps well in the fridge and you can halve the receipt easily too (just use 2-3 dates instead)

Ingredients

5 medjool dates (pitted)

1 tablespoon coconut sugar*

1 tablespoon cacao

1 cup coconut cream

Dash of salt

Method

  1. Blitz everything in a blender
  2. Then pour into a small saucepan and simmer over a low heat until it thickened, has darkened and reduced (about 5 mins)
  3. Pour over everything!

Variation

Replace the coconut sugar with 1 tablespoon of maple syrup
